This book will introduce you to the Seletarians living around the cities in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. People from this aboriginal tribe, whose ancestors moved to the Southern Johor seasides from Singapore, spend their lifetime on the sea. They are not Malay as they have their own language and culture. They live as easily as they can until they do not have their history on record; every bit of custom is taught and passed down to future generations at home.
Documented culture aims to leave exceptional marks on this world. Culture might not be the most significant part for the Seletarians, but Malaysians need to be aware that the indigenous people are also a part of the multicultural Malaysia – which becomes our wish upon the book release.
